Guys, it saddens me to be the one to announce this but today, our friend Gorl Abris (Chris Grassi) died of a heart attack.
I'm sure that all of our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
Here is a copy and paste from his facebook page:
All - it is with great sadness that I share with you today that my brother Chris Grassi passed away tonight at the age of 45. We believe that it was from a heart attack, but do not have much details at this time. Please keep my family - especially my mother and sister in your thoughts and prayers at this time. I will make sure to pass along any details when they are finalized. Thanks to all for your thoughts, prayers, and condolences. Sincerely Tony Grassi

Gorl Abris: Why don't you just snuggle up next to your Mom like every other time...
Dysphonia Fera: Would you like some Ice with that Burn?

I've considered Gorl one of my closest friends in this game, whenever I came on Mumble he greeted me with a warm "Yakumooooooooooooo!". I will very much miss this, as well as his grumpy, gravelly voice. We talked about all kind of stuffs, every day, and hanging out with him was one of the main reasons why I came on Mumble.
He was one of the pillars of our community, not only for being always around, but also for his logi work and running Ponywaffe Free Radio.
When I last talked with him on Sunday, it was our usual banter and teasing him for some of his choices in music, a normal day and he did not show any signs of distress.
He has had problems with his heart for a long time and structured his life around that, fully aware that it would one day stop working. This day came now, far too soon.
The only weak consolidation I can find is that apparently he did not have to suffer for long.
My thoughts are very much with him and his family.
I'll miss him so much...
